About Me, And About This Site

Have you got a problem with JetForm/Accelio/Adobe Central or Output Designer? Would you like to know how best to do something or is there something you can’t figure out?
Who I Am
My name is Daryl Dean, and I’ve been working with JetForm/Accelio/Adobe Central and Output Designer for more than twelve years. I am a globally recognized expert on just about everything around Central and Design, and I have built a career of offering innovative solutions to complex problems.
What I Do
Currently, I am a Technical Account Manager at Adobe Systems Canada Ltd., based in Ottawa, Ontario. Before beginning my current role, I was in Enterprise Support assisting Gold and Platinum customers also in Ottawa, and before that in Sydney, Australia. I also worked for JetForm Corporation from 1997 to 2000, which is how I got started with this.
What Do I Charge? Nothing.
If you would like to ask a question, please go right ahead. You can drop a comment on any article – including this one – and I’ll see it. If you’re not comfortable with that, drop me an email at the address below. This cannot be considered a substitute for real support from Adobe, however, and I don’t take work on the side. This site is simply my own effort to share the knowledge that I’ve gained over the years with those that can make use of it.
If you like, you can email me at daryl@jetformexpert.com
Please remember that I can’t answer every email I receive, and I can’t guarantee any sort of minimum response time. I have a day job that eats most of my time.
Copyrights and Trademarks and Such…
Copyright of Samples: You can take and use any of the sample code, sample forms and other things presented on this site as sample content and use them for any purpose, commercial or otherwise, as you see fit. All I ask is that you attribute my work. (And a Christmas Card might be nice.)
The JetForm Logo: I make use of the “JetForm swoosh” logo on this site. The “JetForm swoosh” logo has been abandoned by the express request of the Trademark owner (as can be seen here) and anyone – including me – is free to use it. (Indeed, the word “jetform” itself has also been abandoned in all but one instance, so it’s probably safe as well. But just in case it isn’t, I call Fair Use on that one.)
You might see other logos, Trademarked and not, from time to time. I trust anyone with a sense of reason will be able to discern that I’m using them only to assist in identifying specific things and specific companies.
